Thanks Cat!
That sounds like a great book! Teach that man how delicious kosher salt is with food! Hahah. Good Luck!
I would love to show everyone the HORRENDOUS karaoke night I am attending, but I’ll save you the agony. It’s brutal, but funnier than anything I’ve seen all day.

I love when people from #portland follow me on tumblr.
Hi!
If you want to impress someone on a date, you gotta cook something that is 100% homemade. Nothing from a can should be the centerpiece of the meal. Comfort food is great for dates. Stay away from garlic, onions, anything too dense, and also spicy. If you can make it in your kitchen while sharing a drink, that’s even better. You’ll get points for multitasking, and if you don’t have a lot to talk about, you can always talk about the meal. Steak is kinda sexy. After searing it hard on both sides, baste it with thyme, rosemary and butter. Ideally, you want to figure out what your date’s favorite foods are, and cook those to perfection.
I want to teach my kids MANNERS! Grammar is important too. It makes me cringe to see and hear people not presenting themselves properly. It could make or break you in this world.
Favorite movie has to be Rounders. I don’t have a huge movie collection, but I am a huge Matt Damon fan, so anything by him is fine with me. I love the Oceans movies, Bourne movies, Good Will Hunting, The Informant. The man does it all.
Favorite book? Hey thanks for reminding me to read more often! Do cookbooks count? Poker books? OK just kidding. I like how Sedaris reads. I read a good Bukowski book last year called Women. Maybe someone can recommend me some new books. I read a CP article on writing without thought verbs and it really made me want to buy his whole collection. The attention span thing is an issue with me.
Favorite beer RIGHT NOW is Double Mountain’s Killer Green IPA. I love all types of beer. Sour, bitter, sweet…all of them. Last year in October I had the Killer Green, and I can’t wait to get another one of those in me. It’s minty and has an herbaceous oregano flavor. It’s unlike any IPA I’ve ever had.
Don’t be stupid.
People that don’t ever ask me, “what’s new?” really bother me.
